Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi
The arrival of your flight at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Vazquez Tours & Travel Ltd representative, safari briefing then introduction to your driver-guide. Thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
In the morning you will be driven to Wilson Airport to board a regional flight to Samburu, one of the most arid Kenya Safari parks. On arrival at the Airstrip you will be met by a representative from the camp and transferred to your Kenya Safari accommodation, before setting out on an afternoon game drive. This arid region is home to a surprising diversity of wildlife that sustained by the Ewaso Ng’iro. Look out for desert animals such as Besia Oryx and the Gerenuk.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy breakfast in the bush before exploring Samburu on both morning and afternoon game drives, returning to the lodge for lunch during the day. The river is home to some of the largest Crocodiles in Africa, and the reserve is a good place to look out for Cheetah during your luxury Kenya Safari. The park has natural springs which are fed by underground aquifers which carry the water all the way from the melting glaciers on Mount Kenya.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After a leisurely morning, you will be transferred to the nearby Airstrip to board a flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival you will be met by a representative from the camp and driven to your Kenya safari accommodation for the next few nights before experiencing a night game drive in the Mara concession area. The Mara is one of the iconic wildlife regions of the African continent and has abundant plains game and one of the largest Lion populations on Earth.

Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Spend the whole day in Maasai Mara National Reserve, the most iconic of the Kenya safari parks. Head out on morning and afternoon game drives – returning to the camp for lunch. Explore the wide sweeping savannahs which times of the year teeming with over 2 million wildebeest, thousands of Zebras and Gazelles, all closely followed by the predators. You can see all the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, and Elephant) in the Reserve.

Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Choose to do an optional activity, either an early morning Hot Air Balloon safari (a spectacular way to view the sweeping plains) or a walking safari, during which a knowledgeable ranger will decode the secrets of the bush for you. Alternatively, just relax and head out on a game drive before spending some time relaxation at the camp.

Day 7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Amboseli National Park
In the morning you will be transferred to the nearby Airstrip and fly to one of the most scenic Kenya safari parks – Amboseli via Wilson Airport in Nairobi. On arrival you will be met by a representative from the net couple of nights. In the afternoon you will be taken on a guided nature walk in the Amboseli concession area.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park
You will spend the day in Amboseli National Park. Head out on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the wildlife. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. The park is home to many Buffalo and you will have good Hippo sightings in the swamps.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi – Departure
After a morning game drive in Amboseli and a delicious breakfast, you will be driven to the nearby Airstrip and flown back to the capital Nairobi, where you have the choice of being transferred to your hotel or to the airport for your onward travel arrangements. As we leave Africa we know that the old age is true: you may leave Africa, but Africa will never leave you.
